We haven't seen anything at all. Keeps getting thrown in at the deep end.

....but he needs to grab his opportunity when it comes along. Deep end or not, he receives a football to his feet and needs to do something with it. He’s not doing anything to suggest he can positively impact a game, which is entirely down to him.

I don’t want to write him off yet because we’re all probably guilty of doing that a bit too much with players who don’t hit the ground running but I genuinely thought he pussied out of challenges far too much today. There were times when he could have chased down better as well. Very frustrating for a player with a point to prove and someone wearing the no. 9 jersey.

Allardyce is doing the right things giving him chances, young and you never know could deliver on his promise from last year. He was utterly dreadful today though, should have put Niasse on instead and look to give Sandro a run out in a game were he'll get more time on the ball.

Sandro needs time & games then we may see an improvement....

Unfortunately he looks naive & incapable of holding on to the ball for any considerable length of time....

Disappointing today & struggled to make any impact whatsoever...

NIASSE would have given us better options going forward today....

His instinct seems to be to run directly into trouble.

Think the problems are: He does not adopt to the physical side of the PL. Whenever he tries to control a loose ball, he straightly ticks the ball over then lost it in consequences. Adding to the fact he does not work hard enough and does not close down opposition.

Its all very strange. In vids before he joined us his off the ball running and first touch were good.
He seems to have obviously lost his confidence and possibly maybe just homesick?

He's been rubbish every time I've seen him.
He can't hold the ball up, can't control a ball, can't take a man on, can't tackle back, can't head a ball and he runs around like a headless chicken.
Apart from that, I agree he looks promising.
Hope he enjoys the rest of the season in Spain.
