He can't seem to ever find any space and his balance is horrendous, I don't think I've seen him beat a defender without slipping yet.

Just looks a classic case of a Spanish player not suited to the physicality of this league. It's like watching a boy amongst men and it's honestly depressing to watch. It's not like Martina who is just outright pathetic and has no place playing on football pitch, this lad I get the sense is genuinely trying but looks so much like a fish out of water.

Unfortunately he looks naive & incapable of holding on to the ball for any considerable length of time....

Disappointing today & struggled to make any impact whatsoever...

NIASSE would have given us better options going forward today....

Absolutely awful, worse than Niasse first time around. I don’t see anything at all from him. If I was a bang average PL striker I would fancy my chances in la liga after watching him.
You know he’s bad when I would prefer Nickolas Bendtner Upfront.

He is hopelessly off the pace that's required. Not sure if he deliberately makes runs into channels where the ball is most unlikely to ever arrive but he ain't the answer at this time - he was a waste of legs &'options today - don't like saying that but it's true.

Happiest reaching out to Alonso for some kind of acknowledgement than being a threat. His movement is poor, he can't hold it up and he goes hiding. Perhaps there is a player in there, but on what I saw today he needs more help to readjust to the English game. Just waiting for it & standing still is what happens at u11 & the over the hill mob league - for his age & the salary we pay him he should at least be looking somewhere in between. At the moment he is a million miles away from being a centre forward worthy of wearing that number 9 shirt of Everton Football Club.

I really want him to prove me wrong; but if that performance today is what he is about we won't be seeing too much of him in the near future.
