Listened to that absolute idiot while I was in the car earlier! Tried ringing in as I wanted to ask him if he’d want Allardyce at WHL if and when Pochettino heads off to better things, but couldn’t get through!

White, Miils and Michael Gray all very condescending about Everton and how grateful we should be! Think if i’d got through i’d have ended up getting kicked off!

This is how Allardyce and the like have spun things round and how we are perceived at the moment. A distance away from our reputation at the end of last summer.

It will be a tough summer trying to bring in big names when Sams media cronies are making out we were bottom by 10 points when he came and have been like Barca since because of him.

I think a deal with Fonseca was agreed last year, and the plan was for Unsworth to see out the season until he could come, when it was clear he was struggling, Moshiri got Allardyce in to see out the season, he only ever wanted him on a 6 month contract, he had to offer 18 months to get him in.

It was always the plan to sack him now, the fans backlash had no bearing on it IMO.

Alan Myers just read out a quote from Moshiri when he hired Sam. Just confirming what you said.

I was baffled last week he was saying he’d captured the fans hearts and minds! There was a protest / planned protest that very day!

He was going to pay £12m for Silva as compo to Watford, he can now get Silva for free.

Allardyce would not come unless it was 18 months, we stayed in the league, job done, pay him off and move on.

Your being far too sensible there pal, pack it in and whinge like most of the rest. Me I'm still celebrating getting rid of Sam, well in 24 hours. Have Silva or Fonseca, just want to see us play football again that's all.

Well after the 4-1 defeat at Southampton I’d have taken 8th position at the end with anybody as manager, so Big Sam got the job done. But we all know the “ but “. Somehow I had a vague hope that whoever interviewed him for the England job had seen a depth of tactical nous that he could apply to decent players and create a good attacking team. So from me it’s thanks for the job done Sam. I’m sure come January he’ll be back in PL management working to save some club or other from relegation, as long as it’s not us again.
