On Talksport with Jim White this morning, there were some calls from Spurs and Nots Forest spouting the usual nonsense about how they cannot understand why Evertonian's are unhappy with Allardyce after what he has done. A blue phoned in and put them all in their place in 50 seconds flat.

Id rather have BFS than Silva. Boring football over a Martinez-type disaster any day.
Emery on the other hand, bring him in!

He is hardly a miracle worker mate. We were 2 points off 9th when he took over, we ended up 8th because Leicester collapsed after a good start.
We could have done that with me as manager.

It isn't a digital world though - there exists a nice place in the middle of "anyone could have done it" and "miracle worker".... it's called "Thanks for doing a decent job, Sam".

Let's be honest, if you were Sam Allardyce you'd be a bit pissed off with constantly fixing the mess that other managers make, but get no job security or appreciation from it - that will be the drivers for his personality, he's been defending his position all season whilst trying to cobble together a team that a highly respected manager, one thought he was good enough to manage Barca, (Koeman) cocked up

I was panicking like a stupid girl here for weeks thinking we were gonna drop. Don't even care about being vaulted, I'd well and truly filled me kecks about it. God knows how we finished 8th looking at the stats since he took over. Extreme luck I'd say.

We were never in danger. This season was embarrassing enough without having this fella added to the list of Everton Managers, the greatest shame of all.....

£6,000,000 mate for his latest bit of work. I honestly don't think he's arsed in the slightest.

Everton, the club that just keeps giving.

Backed Koeman. Won £120
Backed Rooney to come back. Won £1250
Backed Sam. Won £300

Money is on Emery this time around.

...can’t even see Emery quoted in the BetVictor market. Silva has gone from 4/5 to 1/4 in a couple of hours.
