Sam Allardyce On Everton

For - He’s got a great track record in keeping teams up.

Against - He has the bearing of a man who takes the newspaper into the stalls for a good half hour, then when emerging says, “I’d give it five minutes if I was you”. Look at him - not a chance five minutes would be enough, and on top of that, he’s a proven taker of backhanders.

Conclusion - But I really like being in the Premier League though...

It's going to happen isn't it. *sigh

It's times like this I'm glad I don't live in Liverpool anymore, you lads must be getting some stick from that lot.

As much as I hate the idea of Sam, our current situation isn't leaving us many options. As so many have said how on earth are we going to attract quality on and off the field in this mess.

Hi Sam, keep us up and Ill buy you any pie you want

He's a sad indictment of where we are - but we are where we are. 8 points from 30, a horribly disjointed, unbalanced squad, trouble at the top of the club, and players who at the very least aren't physically fit enough. People are wailing about 'transfer kickbacks' - true, it's abhorrent, so don't let him anywhere near the cookie jar. All deals go through a DoF , that's what they are there for.

We can't do the basics, Allardyce specialises in this. One season, short contract, get the club safe and on sound footing, pay £6m+ a season to a top manager and take it from there. Oh, and find £80m+ from somewhere for two strikers.

Time for the medicine.
Yes , But what do we do if he does the double over the RS , wins the FA cup and finishes top four ........We'll be stuck with him then and won't be able to appoint a top manager ........

Looking at where we are now, if that's the conclusion of this season then make him a freeman of the city. In Sammy we Trust!!!!!!

We would have to appoint 'Unsy' full time if he wins the four games he is in charge for before the international break.

Oh wait, he's lost two so far.

I don't think we're that desperate yet. If the next manager still has us in this situation in two months time however...

File under fire fighter with Moyes, when Unsworth doesn’t get the job.

I have a feeling he might get it because Moyes would be a Kenwright pick and Allardyce would be the middle ground between Bill and Moshiri.

Might put my money down.
Makes perfect sense in the short term. That clown Walsh needs punting and Moyes can spot a player and knows the club inside out. Be perfect for Big Sam to have behind him while he saves us from the abyss.
