Sam Allardyce On Everton

Which is ? You’ve got plenty of players to play his way he had good midfielders like M’Vila, Kirchhoff and a little striker Defoe to play his way at Sunderland... Christ he even made PVA look good defensively and Borini look like a footballer

Even if he only stayed until May that gives your board the rest of the season to have the next manager lined up

Direct players with pace
Solid centre backs
Tenacious midfielders
Good target man

We've spent 170million on 'footballers' this past year(well apart from Martina), yes I agree we need to firefight now and sort out the defence as a matter of urgency, but getting some of these playing might help for a kick off! Personally I'd go for Tuchel and if not then Dyche I know he's not much more exciting but he's younger. Sam does a firefight well and gurantees you safety but I look at the table and think if someone could sort this shambles out and win a few games they could arrest the decline. Sam will be gone again come May, its short term and will have to be ripped up again, meantime any footballers here will be off.

He would sort Rooney out at least lol

Would be the discipline and structure this side needs. Leave the transfers in the hands of the DoF to avoid any silly business (not Walsh) and we're great

Can't really argue with any of that. We're stuck with what we've got. Even in the next window, there'll only be a couple of new faces. We need someone to drag every ounce of effort out of this squad and get them playing as a team again.
Is it Sam? Who knows, we carry on like we are though and the unthinkable could happen.
Time is against us now, and whoever does come in gets about half a season to work wonders.
What a mess.

He's a sad indictment of where we are - but we are where we are. 8 points from 30, a horribly disjointed, unbalanced squad, trouble at the top of the club, and players who at the very least aren't physically fit enough. People are wailing about 'transfer kickbacks' - true, it's abhorrent, so don't let him anywhere near the cookie jar. All deals go through a DoF , that's what they are there for.

We can't do the basics, Allardyce specialises in this. One season, short contract, get the club safe and on sound footing, pay £6m+ a season to a top manager and take it from there. Oh, and find £80m+ from somewhere for two strikers.

Time for the medicine.

Who else is going to put an arm round their shoulder, or give 'em a much needed kick up the arse?

This surely cant happen.

I dont think hes a bad manager, but my God the message it would send is enough to make me

To be honest that message has been sent out already, by the state of our performances and the way the fans have behaved this season, being reduced Big Sam, hard to put forward an argument we deserve better, players and fans
