Read earlier that his record with Sunderland was 2 defeats in 16 at one stage?

Hard to know who is worse at this stage but that’s very impressive either way.

Not someone I would ever have countenanced as Everton manager up to a few weeks ago but he would bring stability and certainty, or at least offer the best prospect of same.

At this point and under these very difficult circumstances I would have to say now that his would be a good appointment.
 


were in a bad way, but I don't think were as bad as people are making out, I mean its not like we're bottom 10 points adrift, we literally could win 2 of the next 4 games and be about 12th

it's all about confidence, get a scrappy boring win against Watford and they settle down a bit, agreed that Williams jags and baines at the back isn't ideal, wouldn't go appointment a fat sam just yet, give unsworth till the international break, go for a tuchel or someone and he has loads of time to turn it around, he will have arguable our 2 best players coming back soonish ( ross and coleman ) and then has January to sort of the defence and striker issue
