I agree with your last point and I agree with the pedestrianisation approach. So if he banned cars and pedestrianised and provided other forms of transport, then fine I would applaud him. But he’s not is he, and I’m genuinely sorry for you regarding your friends, but I expect that what he proposes will make no difference.......

Sadiqs sound, all the Londoners I know are pretty happy with him... massive improvement on the last guy.

From what I've seen most who are unhappy with 'because I don't like him' wouldn't have much issue with him if he was called Simon Kane rather than Sadiq Khan.

Not much...Although I do recall Amber Rudd saying categorically that police cuts had nothing to do with rise in violent crime. She said a similar thing about no immigration targets...then was proved to have lied and resigned as a result.
