I’ve been having back/ neural issues for 5 months , haven’t run for 3 months, tried everything physio, chiropractor, Pilates, all the usual core/ back stretches, gets better ,then back to square 1 . I’ve got a MRI and upright XRay on Monday. Tried pool running today , still a problem and a fear I won’t get back running again, certainly not longer distances![]()
I’m really sorry to hear that, how are you coping mentally, as you’ve been running for so long, it must be hard when it’s taken away from you ?
I’ve known s few runners over the years who’ve had to pack in for one reason or another and some of them have taken up cycling as a substitute, which seems to have filled the void for them.
