Off pitch issues so do i, he knows more than i do so i accept what he is saying about Roy.

But on pitch he was all that for us when he played, take out his goals and assists (and ok, include goals he was to blame for) and where would we be?

He was something we needed when we needed it. He wasn't Messi but he had an important impact you can't deny that.

No problem with him being sent back to Madrid now though, we don't need him so much now.

Not that that measn i'd keep him now even if we still sucked, more that we need to try and find a similar type player on the picthw ithout the issues off it.

Mate , HONESTLY , .. HONESTLY , HONESTLY .. We Got Out Of Jail ..

IF hedve , say , scored against the RS , EVEN IF we lost , thered have been a Terry Curran like campaign ..

Bout as accurate too ..

Count yablessings , Mucka . An' YOU have a few ...

I am attracted to the bright lights mate. You know me.

IT obviously comes down to what he offers the club, he was unmatched in terms of goals/assists, but equally as unmatched off the pitch. When it comes to footy, it's a balance really. We are big on the youth thing, and this is why Neville hangs around, he may be utter gash on the pitch but he has a face for radio ( so to speak ) and that keeps him hanging on.

If he wasn't a liability, we'd have never got him. We tried to sort him out, but it wasn't to be. He was involved in some fantastic play, but I think given how little respect he had it was the best move to get rid.

Here's hoping Moyes has been scouting out our right wing position. Ryan Mendes, Nick Powell, Arjen Robben?

Have to agree here...If you look back to when we got him, even alot on here were wary of this happening. Let's be honest, it was gonna end one of two ways.

A) he was gonna be balls awesome, then he'd leave on a free to somewhere they would pay exorbiant wages.
Or
B) this.

Shame about his terrible attitude, he wont succeed anywhere because of it. No point having talent if you don't have the attitude to go with it.

Were Drenthe's wages going to be a boost in our summer player recruitment LCAB or no real impact?
