So he turns up late, does that mean he should be sacked, If you turned up late to work would you be sacked.
a free transfer who would have a decent sell on value in 1-2 years time and we pass up on it.

its worth the risk look at demba ba, how stupid do stoke feel now not signing him up.

You would if you was only on a temporary contract from an agency or whatever.

Good:

- Great cross on him when he actually managed to use it

- He used to hit passes with a bit of pace

- Fierce shot

- Fast

- Very direct when necessary

- A good attacking threat when chasing a lead

Bad:

- Used to sit on the floor for 10 minutes whenever he lost the ball, being a factor in conceding goals at least once

- Falling over because he tried too much and giving the opposition the ball e.g. Liverpool's 3rd at Anfield

- My mate saw him in town literally every week, including on Friday nights before a game on more than one occasion

- He turned up late for training numerous times

- He showed a complete disregard for the rules on the eve of our biggest game in 3 years

- He'd never get a cross in because he'd dribble straight at the defender before booting the ball straight at him from a yard away

- Misplacing over ambitious passes in the middle of the field which caused opposition chances and sometimes goals e.g. City's 2nd at the Etihad

- He thinks he's a lot better than he is therefore giving him a massive ego problem

So in summary he's not as good as people are making out and had to go for being a complete tool. Jose Mourinho, the best manager in the world, saw it too. The club has done the right thing - we don't want anyone to make a mug out of Everton FC.

Amen , Brother

If he hadn't dropped him the HE WOULD'VE DONE THE SAME AGAIN, & AGAIN, cos with some folk it's not a case of the penny not dropping it's a case of not giving a flying.

The dutch National team have been known for their bust ups, sulks etc that have ruined comps for them, in fighting etc.
Any chance that that this Rotten Tulip Bulb will be allowed near them this summer ?
Not a chance in hell.

WHY ?
Cos they know exactly what he is like and what he will do to the squad.

But he plays for Real Madrid !! no, he coulda played for Real, sop much so that he got a move and a nice contract off them, but prefers to try and be some gansta rappa who would rather be in a warehouse knocking out 2000bpm to the "Rotterdam 'Ooligans" than doing it on the pitch for them.

His impact MAY have worked in the semi, but then it equally might have not. One thing is for certain though, he woulda thought "Rules? Pffft" and gone back out and done the same again

I think at the end of the day. Evertonian are desperate for a bit of flair, he was just that. Like a dangerous mistress we got burned badly by the other mad dutchie who came with baggage and we took a chance.

Moyes learnt his lesson, and Drenthe has proved that.

I'm amazed at people saying he should've been given another chance tbh.

He was the new AVdM and Moyes would've faced "he let Shandy get away with it and now RR Rasputin, disciplinarian my arse, he got moonwalked on by a pair of clogs."

overrated ,overpaid tit thats all he was, bit of pace the odd shot and people think he was a worldbeater ,he wasnt he was average most of the time on the pitch and a accident waiting to happen with some of his half arsed passing and not getting back, more like beagrie than ronaldo i
