I'd love to know.

Utter Bona Fide , Garbage ...
With respect , an' that ...
Mate he really wasnt that good, build a wall.
At least someone is talking abit of sense on here about Drenthe.
The moment one player thinks he's bigger than the team you lose all discipline in the dressing room.
He was a mentalist and some of the implied comments make me think this was a near miss.
Oh and we DID massively miss Pienaar - a player who means WE KEEP THE BALL !!!!
If we get him and another pienaar - type player / winger who can KEEP THE BALL !!! plus build on this year we'll do alright next season.
*prays to god for pienaar, a winger and a second striker and Bidwell/Garbutt step up*
KEEP THE BALL !!!
You have your opinion. I have mine. And sorry mate, I doubt you intend any "respect" to any poster if you choose to disagree by calling their post "garbage." By the way, which part was "garbage" because I'm pretty damn sure I hit the nail on the head with at least a few of those points.
I deal with facts. Can you?
Yeah, cause average players for Everton have shed loads of threads dedicated to them. Same with Fernandes, one of the longest threads in GOT ever.
Face it. There are supporters who couldn't recognize football talent it if hit 'em in the head with a brick.
You guys be happy with signing players like Darren Gibson all day long (no knock on Gibson) because he's a Moyes type of player and fair play to you.
But let's be perfectly honest here, other than Arteta, who have Everton had in the last ten years that could turn a game in our favor with the ball at their feet?
I promise you that you won't have to think long to answer it.
Drenthe could do that. Anyone who thought otherwise is, as LCAB stated earlier, is talking bollox. We saw it with our own eyes. That's a factual statement.
So why is it that Everton can't get a player like that? Why? And when we do, why do they get crossways with Moyes? The supporters?
Do we actually know what he did that caused the problems? You hear loads of stuff and read crap on the Internet like booze...drugs...sex with donkeys etc.
What did he do?
I'm incredibly suprised by people supporting Drenthe here.
Yes, decent player. Offered us something we dont have a lot of....
BUT
Look at his history. Bust up and not wanted by Real Madrid, played well for a bit then caused trouble at Hercules, then the same for us. See the pattern?
As for the timing, so what if he was dropped for the semi. If he'd have been picked after breaking club rules, what kind of example is that to our young players? Oooh, we can turn up for training late and still get picked, brilliant.
He was a risky signing that didn't pay off. Whatever club he goes to next it will be the same. He just has issues and we don't need that.
Just as Moyes isn't bigger than Everton, there is no way R.R.Drenthe is.
