Granted that was posted a while ago and yes im sure talks are ongoing, but that surely indicates that Moyes IS interested.

Fair enough, I didn't read that as touching base but I guess you were replying to a post implying it's solely up to Moyes to decide. I hope they can get in to an agreement over finances and would've wanted to hear that negotiations would be on going. Here's for hoping anyway.

Drenthe didn't just land at finch farm... Moyes decided to make a move for him. Moyes chose to bring him here.

All moyes has done is air caution because of his defensive side and want to improve that side a little whilst allowing him time to settle. He has praised his attaking ability no end.

As said wages will be a issue and only drenthe can solve that side of things.
I have no doubt moyes would snap ur arm off to make drenthe perminent but he's not going to show his hand at this stage or is he going to say we want to keep him and look silly when he won't stay coz of wage issues

Royston is a big game player- expect him to feature heavily against Spurs and the sh1te, I think he will then have played his way into the quarter final and we'll be licking our lips at the prospect.

Absolutely bang on the money.

Talk about him conceding the free kick they scored from (which once again disproves the he doesn't track back bollocks) seems a bit off when before in the same game both Distin and Fellaini gave away free kicks near the edge of our area which could so easily of been punished.

As i said before, there is no harm in trying to eradicate the poor parts of any players game, but it must never come at the expense of the good parts.

Turn him into a safe and steady 5 yard passer who doesn't gove the ball away ever and you lose the player who is so dangerous at the other end.

Its a tricky one but so far his positives far outweigh his negatives so i'd take him making the wrong choice once or twice a game but scoring and setting up goals than Nevilles crappy passes straight out of posession and letting men run past him.

Which apparently isn't an issue for Moyes.

Correct me if im wrong but noone is saying hes not good enough - just that there are areas he needs to improve on and decision making is one of those. He wastes the ball alot by making the wrong choice

You're right, it's a team game.

We have some players who's job it is to stop goals, and other players to score them. It really should be that simple. And we have PLENTY who stop goals.

Hang on a minute.

Surely, the very definition of a loan player is to fill a gap in a particular position. Why are WE trying to improve a player, who doesn't belong to us? Don't get me wrong, I don't mind how he adds that little bit of anarchy every now & then...mixes it up for us & confuses the F*** out of the opposition, but if we're paying top dollar for a loan, why aren't we loaning complete packages?

If we are moving to buy in the Summer, then fair enough. We like him, but we need to work on areas. If we're not buying him, play him where he's good & send him back at season's end.

'Complete packages' don't get loaned out very often. Because they're complete packages. That's the point.

Forward impetus...we lack it, he gives it. If he wants to play week in/out though he's going to have to be a bit more responsible. The league, in general, is so tight that most matches for 15-16 of the clubs is less about creating chances and more about punishing mistakes.

So, at 24 going on 25, when would he become the "complete package"? When you consider he was a regular at Real Madrid until Marcelo arrived, why was he getting regular games there with obvious deficiencies in his game?
