Re: the transport. Its three more stops to Kirkby. They'll put on more trains, build another track whatever. It also has a direct link to Manchester and Woolville.

Kirkby has direct access to two motorways and loads of buses to town and "the city".

Beat me up with words the right honourable Mr Blair, but transport is something that can be made to and will work.

PS: Im not arsed about linking me reports or findings or whatever. Goodison is absolutely awful to reach for transportation and it works, non?

Still love you like x

There's no plans to increase capacity other than shoving a couple of extra carriages on per train.

The transport plan submitted and answers since from SDG admit that there will be up to an hours wait for those travelling by train, and they'll be crush loaded when they get on (and the waiting area is an open air corral - not that we'd be treated like cattle, like ;) )

It's highly unlikely that another track will be laid on for what amounts to 25 days per year of increased requirement.

At the moment, I park locally (bunging a scally a couple of quid) and walk 5 mins to the ground. I know I've also got the option of bobbing into Lime Street on the train and catching one of about a dozen buses to get me within a nice stroll. It isn't that bad.

To be brutally honest, I'm one of the few that Kirkby would be possibly easier for, because I'd be coming along the 62 from Warrington way, and would probably use the park and ride, or drop the car at a mates, but my being ok, doesn't change the fact that this business (EFC) is about to make it harder for the majority of it's customers to buy it's product.

I still love you too petal, your blindness in this matter is simply endearing :D

Monster, you've got a point like.

I just dont see it mate. I use the train for the match and theyre not that bad if Im being honest. You could have a train every eight minutes into Kirkby on matchday on the current track set up but theres no way of ascertaining who many will travel by train. 17 minutes from town isnt bad when you consider it. Buses wise, Kirkby is very well served anyway.

Parking wise, take your pick - outside me mars if you like but don't go flirting with her as she has always had a soft spot for military men.

The only thing two bad things, for me personally, are the boozers wont be as good as Goodison - that might be part habit but theyre part of the match day experience for me and being further away from town but then for me it will be either that short time on the train or share a cab with a couple of mates if we want to keep the party going.

I probably failed to address your points there didn't I.

I'm reading all this, but keep thinking about Amanda Holden. She wants me.

Bill did a good thing for us for a while, but he's been treading water last couple of seasons.
He's just gone as far as he can with his available resources.
I wont beat him, but his efforts to find a buyer should be under closer scrutiny.

He needs to be a fan again only.
