Also in my opinion if UTD offered him a 5 year contract today he would sign it, this is all about the longevity of his earnings, in 2 years he wont get a 3 or 4 year deal on the same money he is on now, he will get a least a 4 year deal from chelsea now and on the same or better money, its all about money that is why he won't be coming he in a year or so as has been suggested.

Maybe he just wants to play football more regularly, score loads of goals and give himself the best possible chance of making an impact at the World Cup.

He's not going to have that many more shots at a major championships.

I reckon you're not far wrong, & the reason they're not going to, is down to the fact that they can see him ever so slightly start to slide physically & they know he's not going to be one of those players who thrive into their mid 30's, due to his lifestyle choices & his genes.

So with 2 years left on his current deal, it's time for them to part company with him.

was talking to someone close to Rooney and there is no suggestion that Rooney is even thinking of joining Everton at the moment. He might consider us after this move.
