There's much more to this than Rooney's desire to be 'loved' imo.

Ferguson started the ball rolling in May when he said he wanted away & Rooney denied all knowledge.

Moyes comments about him playing second fiddle to RvP were deliberate imo & aimed at damaging his poor little ego, so that he sought the move that the club patently want to happen.

I think the "add ons" were over 5 years, im pretty sure the sell on clause was forever.
