Rooney (18 months left on a contract)

If it happened, i'd be very happy.

He was advised poorly. But he left to win trophies, and 5 Leagues, 1 champions league, 2 league cups, and a bag full of personal honours, you can't knock him.

He's clearly matured in some ways, although, he may still have a temper on the pitch, he's still a blue, and any animosity i had for him disappeared a long time ago, instead, it's just a player i'll boo when we play against. We benefitted from the sale.

If he says in 18 months time, "Sign Me Up" i'm all for it.

I'd rather Chelsea bought him so that we can Keep Lukaku. Realistically we want Rooney now, not when he's 30+ and nowhere near his prime.

It could benefit us if Rooney went to Chelsea. We would get a percentage of any profit that United make AND his arrival might make Lukaku surplus to requirements.

I hope he is thinking this, I really do.

It's a case of now or never for him. Do we really want him when he's 34 or whatever?

Stop deluding yourselves, he will go to a team in the Champions League that can pay him £250k a week. There is no sentimentality in his little head, he is a brain dead monkey and there's no way his agent would let him join Everton. The end, close thread

that clause has expired now surely ??

It's 25% of any profit they make isn't it? Considering he went for £24m or so, I doubt we'll see anything.

Van Persie had a year left on his contract and joined United for £22.5m. According to the Mail Chelsea made a bid 'worth' £30m in the summer. If he goes for that amount this time we could make a couple of million.

I can't see United letting him run down his contract and, if they continue to decline, he's probably not going to want to sign a new one.

His personal contracts will hinge on him being a CL player. If MU don't qualify he will
leave and go to a CL team...which could be us.

If you consider what his ambition is, apart from getting wealthy, it would have to be CL, World Cup, FA Cup. Playing for his childhood club has already been ticked off, along with winning the League.

So, you saying he's gonna become Spanish or German then..........

If he moves it will be to Chelski who can afford to match his £200,000 per week wage. He will never ever play for Everton again, he likes his money and my bet is could be off to the likes of MLS.
