Don't talk ****e !!!

I love people who condemn people because they went for the bigger paycheck when they themselves would do the same thing in a flash.

Yeah, I'd take 50k or 75k a week vs. 250k a week.

Oh, wait, no I wouldn't.

Lets face it though, Bill. I have never met anyone in my entire life to earn even a 100th of what has been offered to him.

Those figures means nothing to me, they're so far beyond the realties of my actual life.

We might as well be talking about what we'd do if confronted by aliens. I have no idea at all what I would do in his situation.

Really? I mean really?

Give it some thought and get back to me.

No, I'm not saying money is end all be all but if you can set your family up for life, you do it. Sure there are other variables involved but in this case, leaving ManU to go to Everton for a huge paycut? Well that doesn't make sense now does it?

Not everybody's life revolves around the accumulation of wealth.

He's already earnt £20m a season for three years and over £10m a season for about five before that, before sponsorship deals and everything else he gets paid for.

He has enough to set up every family in his street for life.

A few infractions have been given out tonight for language mate..

Be careful.

Gee, I never thought of that before.

Glad you popped in to point that one out to me.

My life doesn't revolve around wealth either but I want to do the absolute best I can in terms of saving for retirement, saving for my kids education costs, saving in case I have a major medical issue, etc.... Why are footballers any different?

No brainier though Fozzy isn't it ?
Loads of dosh.

yeah.

but how much has the lad got already? could still take home £4m ish a year at everton at a push but i suppose he couldnt live on that even if it means fulfilling his dreams.

his last words on his death bed "how much money i got in the bank?"

Ah, so that's why he should take 2/3 less and come to Everton.

Let me know when you've rejoined the real world Brennan cause the one you'd love to live in doesn't exist.

Well maybe I'm talking sh*te when I say I'd rather be in love and poor than rich and lonely....

Money means different things to different people.

I believe he needs loads of dosh actually.
He'll be blowing it everywhere when he finishes, as will Terry and the like.

If you know exactly what you would do in every single possible hypothetical situation that could possibly happen, your life must be incredibly tedious.

Come on man, I earn 17k a year. I know what disruptions I'd be willing to take for 25k or 30 k a year. But when you come to choosing between 15 million vs 4 million a year, what the hell would I know?

I have no idea what you can do with that kind of money, how much that lifestyle costs, how much money you actually need, etc. Whether 4 million a year means you can't set your family up for life.

And honestly Bill I doubt you do either.

I don't know why you have to be so abrupt all the time. You make me look super polite.

Not once did i say he should take 2/3 less, i was just saying that it's not an issue of being able to set his family up for life, that's what AF was getting at.

There are plenty of people in the 'real world' who care about more than money, just because you don't believe it doesn't make them disappear.
