Rodwell

When you grow up learning from Paul Scholes, you're bound to be comfortable on the ball. Maybe, just maybe, Jack's confidence is low and he doesn't get as stuck in as he probably should do because of his injuries.

I have bad memories of the last time Rodwell got stuck in (Goodison derby). Time will tell.

I think people forget how well he played against Man City at their ground earlier in the season. He kept Silva quiet all game, until someone cheated and got him booked, whereupon Moyes switched him and put Neville on him.

He then started absolutely boss against Liverpool, a man on a mission. Then Suarez cheated, and got him sent off.

If the above incidents don't happen, I don't think anyone would humour selling him.

Same here mate. Time will tell indeed. If he's fit for next season, I'm predicting we'll see the real Rodwell.

I remember that game v City very well. City fans accused Rodwell of taking lumps out of Silva, but the reality is
he shadowed Silva and made it impossible for him to play his fancy tika taka stuff. That card did change everything, though.

For ages I've given up hope on Rodwell, don't you lot make me believe again!

He does **** all! Then again, he does glide down the pitch like a stallion...

And his goal against Man U still gives me wet dreams.

This really and hes a big marketing asset with the Birds.
Trust me , He makes them ALL wet.

Did you perform a study to determine this? I'd be interested in being your research assistant for the next batch of studies. I'm not too proud to use Rodwell as a form of sexual lubricant.

Darron Gibson is far more comfortable on the ball than Rodwell, he also seems to get stuck in a bit more.

Jack looks like a passenger whenever he plays, he's still a young lad but I wouldn't lose any sleep if we sold him this summer.

personally label the same with Gibson at times.

Also I've only seen Rodwell lose the ball once ever since he broke into the team, while I've seen Gibson misplace loads.

Rodwells also got more assists and goals this season.

I think he needs to go to a champions league club to reach his potential. But while were going to get less than 10million for a player I think could be worth double...its best we keep hold another season imo

Yet compare the results when Gibson and Rodwell are in the side...............

Rodwell was a regular in a side devoid of confidence, without any form of creativity and with Louis ****ing Saha up front.

Gibson was a regular in a side reinvigorated by the signings of Jelavic, Pienaar and Donovan, playing with a lot more confidence and the freedom that invoked.

There's always more than one factor to consider. It's not as easy to just say: Team with Rodwell in it=gash
