People already do want to buy him mate. The question is whether they'll pay what we want/whether we sell him.

I thought teams had an interest in him last few seasons but after the season he has had i doubt man utd and Chelsea will still want to buy him in the summer, i just think we need to get him fit and he needs a good season before big teams will want to buy him again.

Rodwell could get sold but the risk in buying him is significant right now. That means he'll cost a lot less than he should based on his talent and potential. The other team could also put clauses in the transfer fee, based on his health. That would reduce the risk they are taking on.

I still think we need to get him healthy and playing 1st team football again. Then we can get good transfer offers and decide whether he'll be a part of Everton long term.

I would also agree 8 mill tops. No club will pay more then that. He hasn't done anywhere near enough to demand a fee for 10-15 mill.

Rodwell has been at Everton since he was 7.

So yeah.

Selling rodwell would be a big mistake - he still has bags of potential and needs to play this season. Keep him and it would be like a new signing FFS!!
