The School of Science wouldn't pass an OFSTED inspection.
Spanish clown.

They were worse than we were, genuinely one of the worst Soton teams I've seen.
But they still won 3-0, which says a lot about our issues at both ends of the pitch.
Had a pic with him on my phone, just binned it,a man can only take so much. It's almost as if he's stubborn as f and won't change how he wants his team to play. Getting dangerously close to Arsene '4-2-3-1' Wengers stubbornness.
He's been too deferential to the old guard at the club. Hibbert and Osman given new contracts - WTF?! That's also evident in the way he refused to address the centre back situation in the summer. Distin and Jagielka are toxic for us and at least one should have been shown the door and a new CB who can play his system brought in. It really does all flow from that unit, IMO. They cant provide the platform for a possession based game and now they cant even defend like professionals. If we are still in a similar state of play in 3-4 years then I maybe start calling for his head. Thing is he is still a newbie and introducing his style and his way and will be for several years. He hits his first bump in the road and people are calling him useless and more laughable some are calling for his head. Just glad the chairman ignored the fans in 1983-84 when they almost had Kendalls head in the noose.
He sees him in training every day, he knows he has the ability to take chances or he doesn't.We have that person: Romelu Lukaku
Except for some mad reason we refuse to play to his strengths. Just HOOF HOOF, don't pass to him when he makes a good run, HOOF HOOF, run out wide, HOOF HOOF.
Play a fecking through ball once in a while. There was a moment when (I think the scores were level, or it was 0-1) and he made a great run but no one played the pass. He slots when he's in those positions, but he needs the ball to slot ffs.

Then what was last season if they are still getting used to his style?
You could say the opposition were expecting the old Everton style of 'if it moves kick it' and the get in in the box style of David Moyes. A style can take a while to take shape and we will get high and lows with it. Ask Alex Ferguson.
