Roberto Martinez discussion

The bit about being wrong about Martinez. The other plotters haven't been big enough to admit it yet, so credit where it's due.
Oh Christ... You didn't get my sarcasm.

Only one thing worse than someone stuck too far to one side or the other is those fence hoppers, who were OUT after City IN after Stoke and OUT again after WBA. The 40 odd of them know who they are, This thread needs consistency.

I just think today's a great day for the cult to get together in this thread and mix a bit of goading whilst wondering exactly what Goat is going on about.

You need days like this, it renews your belief.

Let it all out Ian, be free.

No, it's just your opinion. Other people hold different opinions. Get over it.

Yes, but my opinion is based on facts such as in the last few games we've looked a lot more solid and how in games this season (which I pointed out in my original post) we've played an entirely different style. But you've chosen to ignore that.

Kev for Clev would have left us too open in the middle of the park. Mirallas need to come on and Martinez was right to sub Lukaku and Barkley for Mirallas and Niasse. But imo Mirallas for Cleverley wouldn't have been a good move. Another midfielder was a must yesterday imo, but fit players dictated who was available.

Yeh fair point. I definitely thought at the time we needed some fresh legs but we seemed to click up a gear around the 70 minute mark and 5 mins after we had the goal. Changes after that were sound.

So, Spurs out. Three days after they had to travel to Italy in the Europa League.

In the time they haven't played in Europe, they've been on fire... Let's see if they keep up this run in the league.

We have won four games out of five scoring 11 goals and conceding 1.

The game we lost was unbelievably one sided in our favour yet it spawned 224 pages in this thread of mostly criticism of our manager.

We deserve Tim Sherwood, we really do.

he doesn't change his style mate that's the problem...
