Roberto Martinez discussion

Attacking ethos is fantastic and we are always going to have blips like yesterday when you put out a young team, it's a learning curve...one that I hope the manager and players catch onto fast.
Make it right against Boro and Palace.

Done a decent job for the most part this season but he deserves criticism for yesterday. Anyone that wants him sacked is a bit daft but I just don't get all the snide point scoring going on because some aren't happy with yesterday.

Spot on nobody wants him sacked and quite right.
I thought forums were for giving opinions but its turning into kipper on here.
I suppose forums attract people who are weak in real life and feel brave hiding behind their computer

I like his attacking approach and belief in young players.

What the hell? How is this monster back prowling the streets of GOT already? Is there no ramping up of the consequences for repeat offenders? I hope the feds are keeping a close eye for any breaches of your licence.

Martinez messed up yesterday - Besic, if fit, is the best replacement for McCarthy but given the named subs it probably should have been Naismith. Kone also looked knackered after 60 minutes.

No one gets it right all the time and players like Cleverley won't get match fit unless they actually play in some matches. I'd still rather see that than stifling and trying to nick a goal, frustrating as it was. Tuesday provides an opportunity to make amends quickly.

I am fully rehabilitated sir. Let me prove my worth to society.

Agreed on Besic being better than Cleverley for McCarthy.

Yeah I know. I've worded that post wrong really. Vaulting and old school things like that I quite like. It's just all the name calling, plotters, bell lists and insinuating that people are kopites that is a bit pathetic.
Plotters, bell lists and kopite shout outs are the currency of the streets my dear friend.

They're the baseball bats, dusters and switchblades that cats use on here to gain some spect and take corners.

Speaking of corners it was nice to see Martinez's team score from their first yesterday.
