You know what's great though?

We're just over 24 hours away from one of two great things. There's no downside.

We either:

1. Win the game, get to a cup final and regardless of the outcome the fraud is gone at the end of the season.

2. We lose the game, and the fraud is gone within a few hours.

So in that regard, I'm strangely happy and not nervous about the semi-final.

Yes, have started feeling this myself. Lets just pray its not a Wembley humbling followed days later by an upbeat pre-Bournmeouth press conference delivered by soft lad.

I watched the presser for once, usually try and give it a swerve to avoid hearing the nonsense he comes away with.

He is a nice guy and its a shame for him that it hasn't worked, but, he is also not a very clever guy. He's put all his eggs, and anybody elses eggs he can get hold of, into one FA Cup shaped basket. If tomorrow goes the way of the derby then his Everton career is going to tumble like a house of cards.

10 months of competitive league football has only served as preparation for the semi final of the FA Cup. Hope that works out well for you Bobby ;)

As a person, if he was not a footballer/manager, he fits perfectly as salesman, he has what it takes to sell you anything with his words/personality/looks

It's exactly like Wigan he went after the FA cup regardless of league position, he's done the same here, if we lose tomorrow I genuinely think he'll resign, if we win I still hope we sack him, because we won't win or compete in another league game until next season, he can only focus on one competition, and I think that's how he justifies it, same with Europa last season

No chance he will resign.

he didnt resign there though, we approached him.

I think Martinez is now into the last 36 hours of his Everton career .....

I dont want to jump the gun, and should probably start a new thread ... but I wonder how his tenure will be remembered ?

Simple.

That he was a nice, infuriatingly positive man who wasn't upto the job.

Unlikely scenario, but what if we get a massive reaction from the team tomorrow, win the semi comfortably and then win our remaining games with vast performance improvements all around, then go and win the cup. The mood is different then, potentially the penny drops with bobby and the players. Enough for one more season with some proper team investment? Or not?

Saying in the Daily Fibber (for what it's worth) the powers that be at GP, not very impressed with Jon Woods leaving his seat early at the Pit on Wednesday.

Highly doubt that would be the case. Woods had the option to leave, and i'm sure some of the players would have walked out if they could have done.
