I think Martinez is now into the last 36 hours of his Everton career .....

I dont want to jump the gun, and should probably start a new thread ... but I wonder how his tenure will be remembered ?

Mike Walker levels of bad.

A man so bad at his job that he took on a hell of a talented squad, and quickly turned them into lost, amateur looking losers.

The first season will rightly go down as a massive fluke, based primarily on the work of his predecessor.

Furthermore, his continued failure wherever else he goes will highlight just how poor a manager he is and always was.

Just been looking at potential new manager odds: Jose at 8-1 but if you wanted more of an outsider then King Kenny or Robbie Fowler look good value at 66-1 ;)

It's sad, but I'll probably remember that derby. And the Bournemouth/Chelsea/West Ham capitulations. Too much has happened for the first season to be a lasting memory.

I watched the presser for once, usually try and give it a swerve to avoid hearing the nonsense he comes away with.

He is a nice guy and its a shame for him that it hasn't worked, but, he is also not a very clever guy. He's put all his eggs, and anybody elses eggs he can get hold of, into one FA Cup shaped basket. If tomorrow goes the way of the derby then his Everton career is going to tumble like a house of cards.

10 months of competitive league football has only served as preparation for the semi final of the FA Cup. Hope that works out well for you Bobby ;)

for me personally.....

a manager who had all the best intentions and loads of ideas but had no idea how to actually implement them into a team.

also as the luckiest manager i have ever come across, if it wasn't for sunderland/newcaslte/villa for the past 2 years he would have took a second team to a relegation battle.
