Everton manager Roberto Martinez says he is not worried about his future and that the team must "face adversity in an exemplary way".

The Toffees, who have not won in seven Premier League games, lost 4-0 at Liverpool on Wednesday, a result Martinez described as "horrific".

They face Manchester United in Saturday's Wembley FA Cup semi-final.

He said: "I wouldn't be professional if I was wasting my time talking about what people think about the manager."

" When I win the FA cup, I will be phenomenal in people's eyes again. And, I will be rewarded greatly and rightfully so. The real fans and people at the club can see what I'm trying to achieve and that's all that matters to me "
Tell me you edited all those quotes please?
Otherwise he is now sounding like one condescending son of a biatch..

With previous managers you knew they were on the way out. For some reason I don't have that feeling about RM and Everton at the moment.
Of course I have nothing only a gut feeling to back that up.

I think it all comes down to the dynamic between Moshiri and Kenwright. Kenwright has historically been very loyal to his managers and if Everton should win the semi final tomorrow I think that RM would be left in charge for the start of next season at least if the decision was Bill Kenwright's
alone.
The conundrum is that nobody knows the thinking of Moshiri. He has the power to hire and fire , but there is no precedence to judge from.
Is Bill Kenwright his main advisor or are there others he turns to ?

I don't think he will be swayed by for a such as this , but I do think the mood of the crowd at Wembley tomorrow will be a telling factor.
It will be interesting to see just what that mood will be.

If it was any other club, it would be hilarious. The absolute delusion and utter bollocks he spouts is something to behold.

To use his own term, he is 'phenomenal' at press conferences, I'm now at the stage where the best part of the footballing weekend is listening to what absolute dross he can say before and after the game. The actual 90 minutes is becoming a sub plot for me, we are so bad.

It's terrible, it was only 6 months ago we were laughing at the RS for Rodgers press conferences, but Martinez is a lot worse, he just spouts complete crap or avoids any question.

You have to admire his balls and how hard faced he was when that interviewer asked " How do you feel when the majority of fans don't want you to lead the team out tomorrow? "

His reply " Well, how many of them fans have managed a team to win the FA cup? I can tell you, it's none!!! "

He knows how to upset people, I'll give him that

Classic Mooms lol
