Very sad. The USA should keep their noses out of it, let Germany etc sort it out as that will keep Russia out of it also........just hope it all sorts itself out quickly.......

Well we do put up with it, Its obscene that they have so much money and such lavish lifestyles payed for by us while others cannot afford electricity or heating bills. They hardly work for it. I'm not speaking for the general public that's just my opinion but i bet some would agree with me.

Some, yes, but the vast, vast majority clearly don't.

Cheers, mate. She's been up in Moscow working on the Olympics, so she's fine. She actually flew back down to Kyiv today and I've just spoken with her.....

Having been posted there for the past 4 years - and with my other half still serving out there - it's a place close to my heart. There's obviously a shed load of rumour/counter-rumour, and claim/counter-claim. But all I'll day is that this isn't likely over yet.

Apologies for the graphic nature of this footage: it's over 40 minutes long, but i ask you to sit through it and then post only one word to sum up your thoughts.

Just watched it. Its hard to empathise as you can't imagine it happening that close to home really. Their own government snipering its own people. Nuts. Horrid how many were just wiped out on a whim like that.

Exactly my thoughts. Impossible to imagine.
 
Yanukovich ordered the military onto the streets, but their ChoD told him to ram it. That would have hit extremely messy, but thankfully events took a different turn.

As I say, it ain't over yet.
