  • Worst team in a generation
  • Worst football in a generation
  • Worst manager in a generation
  • Our best player hounded out to the margins of the club
  • Good young players going backwards in their development
  • Players embarrassing the club on the pitch in front of the whole of the continent
  • Biggest transfer war-chest in the club's history flushed down the toilet
  • Ineffective leadership off the pitch from the club chairman, CEO and owner
  • Stadium situation looking less than green for go
We've stepped back in a time machine and this is the late 90s again.

:bye:

Think I may be goin through the male menopauserrrrs or something - but I agree with ya on pretty well all that Dave.

And the concerning thing for me personally is I only actually feel one of two things about the club ATM - the first being absolute malaise, I'm not arsed because it's so set in stone with what we're gonna get per game ATM....and then I veer away from that HUGELY and hit genuine, cold-sweat worry about the whole thing.

The younger me adored KOEMAN the player and I desperately wanted this to work but it pains me to say that not a lot of his playing acumen has TX'd itself to his managerial ability...the initial swagger and brashness has long left and he just comes across as a little bit lost now I think. And as for the spunking of the pot....blimey.

I'd like to think there'll be an up-turn but I genuinely don't think there will be.

Which is crap innit...

I have witnessed all sorts of dross, excitement, joy, sadness all the emotions you can think of in my 50 years as a Toffee but last night and this season has been embarrassing and I have NEVER been embarrassed to be an Evertonian. Makes me a little sad when so optimistic during the Summer.

Come on Everton sort this. 1st thing Koeman out!

We all are mate, but you have to be level headed enough to understand that not everything works immediately. man City went through the best part of 600K and various managers until they got it right.

We're not Man City, not even a [Poor language removed] version of Man City.

Yes I know that my friend, they have a billionaire sheikh owner who was able to throw half a billion pounds at it, in a council owned stadium for a few years.

So what is it you are actually so angry about? is it the football you are watching? If so, I can understand that totally, it is utter garbage. But it can as we know swing the other way very quickly.

It feels like another false dawn right now, but your initial barrage of abuse towards Mosh I felt wa a little over the top.

weve only lost 4 games in the league out of 8, not great but come on, this is a massive over reaction. 7 out of our first 11 players in most games are new players, give them some time to gel. This season isn't going to be a classic in the league but its only a matter of time before they start playing as a team, add a striker in January and finish the season well, decent cup run...team settled for next season.
Im as frustrated as the next Evertonian but some of the calls of embarrassment and worst team in a generation are frankly ridiculous, we are on bad form...its not like we have bad players, they just haven't become a team yet

was nice to see the crowd get behind us last night for a change when we were losing, certainly helped us on the field too...shame it still didn't go our way but gave me some hope

My mini rant. I am lucky enough to just about remember the glory days of the 80's, saw the dogs of war years in the 90's, the lowest moments of the early 00's and Moye's best of the rest years. At our lowest we lacked good players but we always had that bit of fight, that passion. Being poor was maybe reluctantly accepted back then because no manger was gifted 200 million to splash on players but regardless of how bad we've been over the last 30 years i've always believed we could go into the next game and win. Not now. I genuinely can't see where are next win is going to come from and that's a first for me.
I grew up in London surrounded by United, RS and Arsenal fans and i've never been embarrassed to be an Evertonian (and i never will) but this season they are doing all they can to try and change that.
