Nothing surprises me with this club.I honestly believe kenwright is STILL in control.
its becoming abundantly clear that this was part of the initial deal.
The mosh comes in with 80m, wipes the debt to stabilize the club and choose HIS own manager. he will be free to recoup cash thro player sales and tv revenues and the club will still 'owe' him the 80m.
Everything else remains as is.
so with that being said, and the previous decade of absolute failings, we are nowhere further forward than we ever were.
and so it continues...
even a change of manager will have kenwright involved.
Disgraceful. Sack the manager and the entire coaching team NOW!!.The U23s just got beaten at home by bottom of the league Sunderland.

Is he picking the teams as well?Until Kenwright leaves everton we are stuck like this.
Do us all a favour and go Bill.
Yeah , I'm going to Lyon with my son and 1 ticket (he goes to loads more away games than I do these days) so I'm reasonably confident of snagging one, it's an ill wind an all that.So you're a happy bunny right now then?
Problem with this supposition is that Ross was an atrocity in 2016 under Martinez - to the point where he played himself out of the England squad [I know he went to Euro2016 - he didn't get one minute of game time]. He was playing so bad he actually changed shape, looked like he had two arises in his shorts. Making Ross look like a footballer again is one of the few things Koeman has done right since he got here - it was night and day the level between his performances between the two seasons. It was a test of loyalty that a lot of supporters felt they needed to pass when Koeman, straight off the bat, launched into Barkley and isolated him. Koeman "had to be" right...even though they knew nothing about Koeman at the time but knew everything about Ross and what a class player he is.
They can now repent at their own leisure.
If that lad was playing this season we'd be top 7/8 minumum. The truth of the matter is that he and Davies made Koeman's first season here look halfway decent. Koeman responded to that by pushing Barkley to the fringes of the club and undermining Davies because he wanted to slot in Klaassen.
You know you have a massive ego out of control when that happens.
Its hard to know the exact influence on the team, and obviously he's not picking them, but there's no doubt the chairman and cEO set the organisational culture which 100% filters down to the team. A winning mentality or a fighting, 'international', high class mentality comes in every part of the work we do. I remember watching a Man City documentary (post cash injection) and how each of the first team players had personalised training routines, diets and health plans, and loads of little details like that. The talent in Liverpool that makes our junior teams great, is obvious, so the last bit is the professional, first team, and organisational style, which is making us look average. I was and am still really optimistic about the Moshiri cash, but two things made me really cringe - the SportPesa link with Kenya - I mean how can you be a modern football club and go back in time to a betting company and then secondly, Moshiri's jim white love in. Weird. Is he picking the teams as well?

Barkley's best season was in Martinez's last season...that 2016 you dismiss...even allowing for him clocking off with 10 games to go with the rest of them. Goals and assists he has never contributed more than that season.Problem with this supposition is that Ross was an atrocity in 2016 under Martinez - to the point where he played himself out of the England squad [I know he went to Euro2016 - he didn't get one minute of game time]. Ross is not a class player, unfortunately, although I doubt you meant that seriously - plenty of us here know what the mentality of a class player in the Royal Blue Jersey looks like, and it's clear as day Ross does not have it. That problem lies not with Koeman, just like it didn't lie with Martinez, or Moyes, or Roy Hodgeson at England. So who does that leave?
