Hopefully cos of Kenny

Just bizarre timing that this happens just 4-5 days after he had given this interview as well, really hope the lad gets his chance on the weekend

...well he won't lack for passion. I like Kenny's attitude to the game and the staff clearly like him but I have been disappointed in one or two of his performances for the U23 this season (especially v Man Utd). It's likely he'll get a chance at some point, it's up to him to grasp it.

It's a massive loss, not just for our defense, he's such an important part of our attack. This is a massive loss to us. In my opinion he's the best in the league.

Kenny is the new Hibbert. Sound defensively, offers barely anything going forwards. However against the RS that's not the worst thing as we'll probably be on the back foot. Let the attacking players create the chances.

He's been good whenever I've seen him apart from that United game, I'm putting that down to a bad day at the office.

..I was in the Directors box for the game at Hull and he was part of the travelling squad. He sat in front of me with Steve Walsh and Deulofeu and appeared to be getting on really well with Walsh. He's been tremendous coming through the ranks in his own age group, he won't let anybody down for attitude.

I recall Holgate doing an outstanding job at RB the last time Seamus Coleman was injured and feeling it was an injustice that Holgate was immediately dropped once Coleman was fit again. Time to give Holgate a chance and for him to prove himself. Gutted for Shay though...that was a horrible leg-break and I seriously hope he can come back to normal for next season...part of me doubts it though. :( Oviedo was never the same after his injury.

Whenever I saw him, he always looked like a very good attacking full back mate.

I'm going off seeing him last season and the one before mate, thought he looked ready, hopefully it's a case of him getting stale a bit in the under 23s and needing to step up a level rather than him regressing.

What's his all round game like now, when he was 17-18 though he looked very much a attacking fullback type.
