Nah he's festering at Newcastle in the Championship at the minute.

He's been one of their best players much of the year - could be a worthwhile signing to bed in and then deputize for a year/two when Seamus is back. He's only 23 and could be a long-term replacement that plays a similar role to Coleman.
 
Not sure I understand the concern with Holgate but I'm open to opinions.

Had a great start to the season, so much so if I recall, that people were upset he lost his place when Coleman came back into the team.

I'm not worried with him being back there.

Holgate won't offer anything like the attacking threat that Seamus does, so that's the concern for me, not his defensive ability

Revert to 3 at the back with Holgate, and god knows who plays RWB
Lennon? Not that this is reason enough to start him there but didn't RM play him there briefly... Could Besic slot in at RWB/RB he used to play CB didnt he... We are in a tight spot til the next window.
