37 is effectively the same as 36 UNLESS Burnley get absolutely tonked in one game but win the other, and end up with a worse GD. But given that in that scenario we'd be on worse GD than we already are that is incredibly unlikely.

Yes, if we pick up one more point this only keeps us up if Burnley draw their last 2 games. In that scenario, a massive point.

I felt like some we're taking today for granted it was never an easy game. Granted the sending off was a gut punch but we are in deep trouble we need one more huge performance and do we trust these players to muster one?

Think Palace are all wrong for this team, they play the football this team really struggles with. The Watford result is getting more criminal with each passing day.

The only positive is that this will be all over this time next week. It has consumed my life way too much to the point where I'm drained. I'm nervous about a game on Thursday on a Sunday night. Its been absolutely horrific and today hasn't helped.

Sorry to hear you have suffered like that mate, we all have to some degree and it’s been such a terrible season, but your right, we haven’t hit much more to put up with and we know exactly where we are in a week. The way I see it is there’s a lot of other really bad stuff going on in the world, and it’s just footy so I shouldn’t get too stressed by it, but that’s easier said than done and we all love Everton so it’s a killer seeing what’s happened this season.

Nothing convinces me that Everton are capable of another point. The team is depleted and looks out cold.

Final day we wont get a thing at Arsenal and we'll be banking on Brentford.

Need some of the defenders back - hope we can show the same will to battle again. It won’t be easy but Goodison under the lights is special - the old girl might still have some magic left for us.

Yes, of course it could be vital.

With respect to Leeds, a point against Palace makes no difference, as we know, they have to beat Brentford to finish above us.

With respect to Burnley, if we get a point against Palace, then they would have to win one of their games, two draws wouldn't be enough for them.

Whereas if we lost both our games then two draws would be enough for Burnley.

Palace slapped us 4-0 with ease. This is going to the last day.

We slapped Brentford 4-0 in the cup. If we show up on Thursday and the players keep their heads and don’t pick up stupid red cards then they have every chance of getting a result.
