Yep it's coming. Pretty much everyone I have spoke to at work have said they will.vote to strike. Those who work on the bank, have already said they won't pick shifts up, when it comes to it.My missus is a nurse mate and she`s never been on strike in over 20yrs of service, however, she`s fully expecting to go out in the late Summer / Autumn.
There`s a lot of anger in the Public Sector over how they were lauded as heroes by the government during the pandemic and then shat on again over pay and conditions.
You get the feeling the media have been briefed to wind him up and paint him as a thug. What was the piont of that?
Would love him to do an interview with shapps/Greene or whatever he is called this week. You get the feeling the media have been briefed to wind him up and paint him as a thug.
First Kay Burley trying to get him to lean towards saying he will promote physical altercation to stop people crossing the picket line. Now this, trying to insinuate he is going to destroy the world, cause he looks like a puppet.
Thankfully he is just not falling into the trap. All it will take is one wrong word or for him to get angry, and the government will have their man in their sights, and paint him as an aggressor. They are not getting it, from him.

It's not all all the workers, the station staff are required to work 3 out of four, if you can't get cover you have to do it.With only reading surface level stuff there are things which I think should be modernised.
Rail workers not working weekends whilst working for a 7 day service seems nonsensical.
On a vastly smaller scale we had this issue with a hospital I was managing. We made a new model based on the needs of the business and made everyone work a 7 day shift pattern and any exemptions were by flexible working requests which were approved only if it suited the hospital as well.
I'm sure there's some roles which have no need to work weekends of course.
