I was warning yesterday this was going to be his play. Textbook by him

People on here should beware trying to silence people including Labour MPs, because all you're doing is given opportunists like Farage ammunition to claim he/they are being silenced and don't have a voice

Rather than trying to silence people it's better to address issues. At Everton we've had the silencing culture ("stop being negative" etc) for years too and look where it got us as a club

The way you deal with these types of issues is to out debate them and have better policies than them. That way Farage has no ammunition
It is textbook, we've seen it before, so no need to warn us thanks.
As for 'silencing', you were the only one to bring that up. It was pointed out her rhetoric could be taken as inflammatory and give support to those actually causing issues. It doesn't take much to inflame a situation as has been seen by headlines from der Mail and das Telegraf.

Obviously not Teeside, but still

Ever read Eric Schlosser's book Reefer Madness? It's old, but one of the pieces in it focused on the Strawberry trade in the US. 20yrs ago it was reliant on it, so not surprised by that report.

@JimmyJeffers does this count as a midi-flex? Don't trouble Joey the secret flexer with it.

When several mosques have been attacked, even though the individual who committed the crimes in Southport had no connection to Islam, it doesn’t seem that controversial to say Islamophobia is a driving force behind some of the violence. If synagogues were being attacked, I don’t think anyone would question it being anti-Semitism.
I've known the knobheads go after Gurdwaras too after EDL protests. Because, well, we're dealing with dingbats here. Racist dingbats.

how come we never heard from these gammon chops going on about two tier policing when stop and search actively went about targeting black people at a far higher rate than other races ?

I seem to remember them all being pro stop and search and thus pro two tier policing
Don't seem to recall them being too arsed about Sarah Everard etc.

Went for a quick bite to eat with my Mum today whilst she was on her work break.

She was telling me about a colleague of hers who is married to a fire fighter based in Birkenhead. They were called over to Liverpool to assist local firefighters on Saturday night. He attended the scene on County road to put out the bin fires and what not.

The fire engine was pelted with bricks and a number of them were physically assaulted by the feral scumbags stalking the area.

They then had to head back over to the Wirral to a replacement vehicle as their one was damaged and were then called out to a house fire where they had to pull the body of an 8 year old boy out of the house.

I can’t even begin to imagine how stressful that night must have been for them. :(
