As utterly pointless and risky an excercise this would be, barring Kroldrup, Moyes has a pretty f*cking decent eye for a CB. Heitinga's good, yes, but we could easily come out of this stronger at the back and with a smaller wage bill.

That said, there's no point to this as he doesn't want to go and he's an important player. I wish we could just shift Rodwell and Victor instead ffs.

Yobo, Jagielka, Heitinga, Distin and Duffy are all good enough to start a premier leage game, imo. There's very little chance that we'll have all 5 available come the beginning of the season, I realise but we do now. So until that changes I'm not going to get upset about our lack of options there.

Especially compared to LB and FW where we're basically first choice or bust.
