Is Parry serious in that there's no other ideas, that this is the only deal in town, and that he thinks they should all give up if it doesn't go through?

Jordan has pulled up that he's been paid to find a solution. United and the RS have chanced their arm at an opportunity for a power grab by offering championship clubs more money and he feels this is the only solution.

Bet he hasn't even questioned the power it'll give those clubs, he's just seen EFL £££

Told you.

Exactly.

He's just seen the bottom line money they'll get. How the prem conduct themselves is none of his business.

Jordan even eluded to the parachute payments he voted for which apparently was only a "temporary" measure. This seems the same. A temporary measure for the EFL...but a permanent shift of power in the PL

Liverpool have played a blinder here, they've tried to make an underhand move to controll football in England and Rick Parry has taken all the flack. This isn't Rick Parry's idea its that shower of shites and they should also be held accountable for it. They will get off Scott free again while the evil Rick Parry is trying to ruin English football.
If parry the weasel is happy to be the mouthpiece for the rs and mancs, he deserves all the brown stuff coming his way.

I agree he deserves the flack coming his way but none of it is going Liverpools way and for me they should be getting the most as its their plan. Liverpool being Liverpool and someone else gets the blame. Who would of thought it.

From “Scouser at Heart” on Rawk;

“I’m not a football fan, I’m a Liverpool fan. If we don’t grab power, someone else will. [Poor language removed] them all.”
That translates as " I live in my mums boxroom in the home counties,I watch every Libberpewwl futball klub game on Tv,while I wear a full kit and captains arm band,my life is pointless but I like the reflective glory of following a team I have absolutely no connection to"

the longest continual stay in the division. As things stand that is the big six, as well as Everton, Southampton and West Ham.

Villa and Newcastle far more recently promoted which is what it's going on

I would think that Villa 25/27 seasons in PL and a longest spell of 25 years would have a slightly better case than City who have 18/27 and LS of 13 years. Newcastle might also want to consult their lawyers with 21/27 and LS of 16 versus West Ham with 19/27 and LS of 10......

Let’s face it, they’ve designed the criteria to fit their preferred solution.
