Man Utd won’t sell us their goalkeeper, who isn’t getting a game, and now trying to get through proposals to stop competition.

They’re terrified because they know clubs, like Everton, are closing in on them fast.

Pathetic.

Get used to it. Once you become a threat they will do everything within their power and beyond to stop you.
When City got took over in 2008 they were ridiculed. Only when we started to win things and be successful did words like 'sports washing' appear along with human rights abuse criticism then quickly followed by FFP. Before that nothing was ever mentioned. The same reason the Newcastle takeover got binned off. They don't like clubs like City & Everton pushing their way into the top table and they will do anything & everything to stop it.

Has anyone got a handle on who would actually vote for/against this. Is it a vote per club across the 92 or is it two blocks of approval (the PL & EFL)??

The mad thing is, Everton were at the top table long before Man Utd got there.

I'm fairly sure that was because the prospective owners were money-laundering murderer dictators like.

BBC reckon the big 6 are all for it (no surprise). I'd imagine West ham are in favour as well. Other than that, I'm struggling to think of another team who would support it.

Thanks TB - I would have very little doubt the 9 & EFL are provisionally onboard.

My question was more around the Mechanic of the note, not who would vote in favour, apologies if I was not clear first time round

I think it would have to get put forward by the premiere league, which isn't going to happen. The EFL don't really have a say in how the premiere league is run as far as I'm aware, so they could give support and big up the plans but can't actually vote.

Ha. Simon Jordan telling Rick Parry it's never going to happen cos none of the club's in the prem apart from the top 6 will vote for it.

Says there's outside investment willing to help out for one. Calls it a Trojan horse.
