You can foretell that in ten years' time that the football we now know (with all it's flaws) will seem a golden age compared to the stupefying boredom that will come to pass.I think it's a more balanced article than the headline suggests. There are massive "power grab" flaws with the proposals as they stand but it's not entirely terrible. Eradicating club specific parachute payments in favour of a more equal distribution of PL money among the EPL isn't a bad idea.
That said, how keen would certain clubs be on that equal distribution if other demands weren't met?

There are some positives to this. I think it's hard to argue against giving a bigger share of PL money to the EPL being a better idea than parachute payments.
But the rest is a power grab. Concentrating the power within a smaller number of clubs regardless of who they are or what happens elsewhere is a corruption. Participants of a competition should be participating on an equal footing regardless of their history, or lack of, in that competition.
