Still nothing tangible will happen to him, even if he loses the case they have no way of forcing him to cough up the money, he's not a US citizen or have any business dealings or assets in the US either, least none we know about. The government aren't going to pressure him to do anything either, to them his family are deitys "beyond reproach".

Likely he just settles to make it go away and ride out the negative headlines whilst still living in luxury. His mummy will pay the bill. Disgusting.

Agreed, but not really that much different than other people with vast wealth and political connections.

I think he will settle, or the Queen will settle and pay up with an non-disclosure agreement. It would appear to be the lesser of the evils that confront him. He will then take a back seat while still taking in a fortune and he will slip back into royal life after a few years. If Boris Johnson can be Prime Minister then why can’t Andrew be a Prince.

Good on Virginia, don't settle for no coin off the self entitled twathead, get him in front of a US judge girl, one who isn't arsed about Royal status and a hot-shot prosecutor as hard as an iron bar. BBC particularly spinning the fact that legal proceedings will "hurt" the Queens Platinum Jubilee this year. My heart bleeds for them

Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "With the Queen's approval and agreement, the Duke of York's military affiliations and Royal patronages have been returned to the Queen.
"The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a private citizen."
