Indeed, which is one of my main objections to these crimes being dealt with in a civil court. This is an allegation of rape let’s not forget, it shouldn’t be dealt with by a fine.
He’s as guilty as sin… and every man and his dog know it, it sickens me that having large amounts of cash at your disposal enables you to act as you please safe in the knowledge the establishment will protect you.
See I’m a cynic rich and famous people have always got a better shake than the poor by virtue of better representation. Yes - Epstein could only exist as he did if it was all unknown, I mean you can’t blackmail people with things everyone knows.
Also FWIW I still think this is only about Andrew because he is such a convenient irrelevance, as has been pointed out repeatedly there were people much closer to Epstein who are still relatively unbothered - just look at Dershowitz for example.

What I find so mad about arch royalists , trump supporters or whoever is how vehemently they look to defend ‘their side’. I don’t care who is implicated in this whatever their political pedigree , history or hue . If they’re guilty I hope they get what’s coming to them .

I disagree - I think that lot will be praying this drags on; if it dies now then that will inevitably cause an uproar and shift the focus from the civil courts (where these sort of agreements apply) to criminal courts (where they don't).
