Is there some sort of FA Hall of fame? A place that would recognize folks like Dixie Dean? Just wondering.

To me this is like if La Liga did it and instead of picking Messi and Ronaldo they went for Paco Gento (I had to look it up) because he won more titles.Well like I said, FOR THE FIRST TWO EVER TO BE LOBBED IN IT, an objective measure of their PL achievements (which will be unlikely to be bettered), is a worthy measure of why they are selected.
No one can argue that Shearer scored more goals than anyone else, and no one can argue that Giggs hasnt won more titles than anyone else. Hence, no argument.
Oh, ok, thanks for the clarification.Yeah, its called sommet different, but its at the FA Museum, in Preston. (I think its Preston)
Henry should be very first name in it
3rd name in it, and not a peep from me.

Henry maybe isn't clearly above everyone like Ronaldo, but it still feels like the wrong way to go about it to me.
It just feels weird to say that using those two measures means there can be no argument, when there's pretty easy holes to poke.Whatever..
He's the best player the league has had and by some distance IMO
He changed the game.
Because picking those two things as the objective measures still brings a degree of subjectivity.Christ on a bike. All I said was that for the first 2 players in it, I would prefer an objective reason why they are in it. Not some half arsed fan vote, not some A is better than B, just a recognition that the all time top scorer and all time PL winner should be the first 2 in.
I cant get why that is even an issue!
Certainly in the discussion. I'd go for a less fiery character to start it out.Wouldn't surprise me to see Cantona as one of the first names.
