Its great the way lads on here know more about the players physical readiness than the manager and physical conditioning team that work with them every day.
Kean,Iwobi PJG etc will start when the management team assess that they are ready
Silva didn't pay nearly 90 m combined to sit them on the bench

DCL to start, give their Centre Backs a hard time and then have Moise come on and tear them to shreds for a late brace.. Wingers as per.

As for midfield, Gomes ofcourse. Next to him I'd have Delph to wind them up but will also be great for keeping possesion. Hopeful of Sigurdsson hitting abit of form after a few games where he's gone missing too.

Defence & Pickford have been brilliant so no change there, barring a Digne injury.

But he’s not ready. Everyone knows that apart from a selection of our fan base apparently.
Not ready because.....

Fitness? Maybe, but we could sub him off if he's blowing.

Not up to speed with the Premier League? How will he get up to speed if he rarely plays?

Not up to speed with the way we play? He's been with us longer than Gbamin, he's been training solidly since he joined us weeks ago.

Why is he not ready? How long is long enough to get ready? We have a striker who doesn't score (and doesn't look likely to) with a £30m wonderkid striker sitting on the bench. Villa have got a team full of players who don't know each other, this is as good a game as any to blood the young man. Forza Everton!

Do you think Gbamin would have played as many minutes if Schneiderlin didn't get sent off?

And yes, he's not up to PL speed yet, he was blowing on Saturday and he was on the pitch like 20 minutes.

Why can't people see the obvious.

Yep absolute waste if he doesn't start Kean.

Even if he gets just the 1st half get him in the team and scoring 1/2 then put DCL on when we are sitting pretty defending a lead.

And yet Gbamin has played and he, and Everton, will likely be better for it come the end of the season. If this was a game against City or Spurs or Chelsea then a cautious approach would be sensible. Against Villa, even if he only lasts the first half, it would potentially give us a greater cutting edge. DCL couldn't score on Love Island, give someone else a go.

But the Gbamin case is different as pointed out with a recent interview with Silva/Brands (can't think which one) where they explained Gbamin had played a full senior season last year whereas Kean only got minutes from the bench and only in the last couple of months of the season.

They're not similar scenarios however you want to try spin it.

To be fair Calvert Lewin was made for love island!

If all fit from Watford ...same XI starts.
If Digne cant go ....think you'll see Coleman on left / Holgate RB
Kean to come in earlier ...55 - 60 min / probably a Iwobi cameo

Hopefully 3 points ! COYB !
