On reflection, all this is correct, it shouldnt mask the fact that untill around Xmas, we played some utterly superb football.

Granted he "reverted to type" and the lack of signings in January hit a very tired injury plagued squad.

Nonsense

Between Aug and Dec we drew against Newcastle,Wigan,QPR,Fulham,Norwich and the RS

We where beaten by Leeds,West Brom and Reading

BOSS FOOTBALL THERE LAD

Last Seasons Ace Footballing Displays:

Man U Home
Villa Away
Southampton Home
Swansea Away
Newcastle Home (Despite the frustrating result)
Fulham Away (Same again)
City Home
West Ham Home

Am I missing any?

Yeah, but how often where we let down by individual errors and late goals? In patches the football was blistering Delbert.

Wigan,QPR,Norwich,Leeds,Reading and West Brom we played poorly

Fulham and Newcastle we played well

RS about average

Basically there was a purple patch in Aug and September where Fellaini played out of his skin and everything cilicked

After that the performances dropped off

But then games we had drawn or lost other than these we have played very well in, only for it to cost us late on. My memorey for this is awful, but the Fulham game wasn't the only game we drew where we deserved more from.

Maybe the Liverpool game

Honestly go through the fixture list

Great start between Aug and Sep we we played great in the games against Utd,Villa,Swansea and Southampton

Then mostly Meh, Draws a plenty

Some good wins in there but nowhere near the level of performance seen at the start of the season

Check the fixtures and jog your memory

People need to go back and watch a replay of Southampton (a) last season if they don't think we're more entertaining. I honestly could not believe how bad we were in the opening 45 minutes of that game, moreso when you consider how important a match it was for us.

I can't believe people on this forum think that swift passing, fluid movement, and sexy interplay is better than long balls into the channels, 10 back on corners, and JH in midfield. Seriously, you guys need to get a grip.

Admittedly, we did sometimes play some good stuff under Moyes, but I'd say most of it was turgid

Your mistaking good football with good results, we smashed Newcastle and Fulham, just couldnt slot and conceded late goals.

We still have 10 back on corners.

Yes, definitely. I look forward to our games even more now knowing we're out to play football and win every game, not dour negative tactics (most the time) with Phil Neville in midfield.
