I was trying for a balanced post as much as possible. it could be said that millionaires have no idea of the suffering of the masses and are therefore more likely to come out with generalities such as "pulling yourself up by your bootstrap" and are more likely not to care about the affects of state cutbacks.

I could go on, but I hope you see the point, or wind back about pre 1997 and see what the conservatives did.

I want to sleep tonight if you don't mind(y)

Could we close this thread until nearer the election, it only brings out bile and hate, we'll have plenty of time for that in the months to come

I want whichever Party to announce tomorrow that the Welfare System , in it's entirity is no longer available to future immigrants . Indeed , retrospectively , nor those of the last 5 years .
This , in a stroke , would make this Country far less appealable to those blurts sitting off in Calais and the rest .
THEN , perhaps , we could treat our Old People with the respect they have earned and address the NHS deficit , whilst also to begin to reinstate some actual pride in one's national identity .
It used to be a given . Honest .

There . I've said it .

spot on

You got that right LCAB but they should not have been allowed in the first place.

By the way I think you will find that there are quite a few Labour mPs and ministers who on paper are also millionaiares. Tony Blair was before he rode off into the sunset. And they would all benefit from the Tories inheritance tax plan.

I have picketed for workers rights as well LCAB..........our generation cared far more, whatever happened to socialism? Labour Party killed it mate
I think its todays attitude mate I was picketing for the miner and donating a percentage of my income,I also backed the Dockers as Ithought it was right today it seems more of a whats in it for me,the last MP I
