AFC wages (2012-2013) £154mn
THFC £96mn
EFC £63mn

In terms of wages & turnover, EFC are comfortably out performing THFC.

There are a few threads on here covering net spends and such, pretty sure ours is very low, not got time to trawl through looking. Both our clubs are held back a little because of ground capacity and such. Arsenal can pay higher wages because they are very extortionate to go and watch.

Spurs averaged a couple of thousand lower than us in attendance last season. Their stadium isn't really the problem.

From what I hear there is quite a long waiting list for Spurs season tickets, correct me if i'm wrong. Whilst it may not be too much of a hinderance under current ownership, in the long term too sustain there spending power, they also need a bigger stadium.

THFC avg attendance 35.8k or 98.6% of capacity & EFC 37.7k (94%).

Regarding the ST waiting list. My mates who have been on the list for 6, 5 & 1 year respectively are numbers 5k, 9.5k & 38k on it.

Fingers crossed the new 56k stadium is due to be started later this year. I'll believe it when i see it.

Obstructed views are a problem,

I am amazed by that mate. Not in a disbelieving way, but that basically means pretty much the entire current STH's must either die or not renew before mate Nos 3 gets a sniff. Wonder what our waiting list is like, or if we even have one ffs!

We don't have a waiting list, it's pretty easy to get a season ticket at goodison.

The waiting list at liverpool is similar if not bigger than spurs waiting list

Thought so. Quite a few times a lad posts along the lines, "I have decided to get one", rather than, "at last, my turn in the queue".

Strange really.

To be fair, the first couple of seasons it moves quite fast as people drop out, i imagine my mate at 38k will probably move up to around 25k next season. Another mate who has been on it for 7-8 years is around 2k & actually got offered one last season but turned it down (but you keep your position on the list). There is only something like a 1 in 6 take up of the roughly 400-500 that come up each season as the ones that do get offered are usually family stand or the posh seats in the West stand (£1.5-£1.8k area).

None of my other mates will get offered one in a decent area until a new stadium is built.

"At Southampton, David Moyes would be working to his strengths – finding and polishing rough diamonds and giving youth a chance, writes Mark Odgen"

Can't help but laugh.

All these clueless idiots in the press thinking Moyes is great with youth because he played Januzaj a bit

No one ever mentions how he practically squandered Barkley until Martinez got a chance to revive his career
