...approaching 150%...nearly 2.5 times ours
Eh?
...approaching 150%...nearly 2.5 times ours
Arsenal's wage bill is nearly 2.5 times ours...that's nearly 150% higher
Arsenal's wage bill is nearly 2.5 times ours...that's nearly 150% higher
I said 250% "of" ours, i.e. multiplied, lid.
250% x 60m = 150m
Unless I've got something wrong somewhere, my brain is knackered from revision.
yes mate, I know what you are getting at. Certainly, one can say Everton's wage bill is 40% 'of' Arsenal's
Thus, Arsenals wage bill is 2.5 times Everton's (or 150% higher).
The term 250% 'of' ours suggests our wage bill is 43 mio i.e. 43mio *(1+2.5)=150mio
I don't think it does at all mate. I was always taught 'of' also meant multiply. And 250% x 60 is defo 150.
Googling 250% of 60 also gives 150.
Pochettino.
yes mate...I stand corrected...(not for the first time!)I don't think it does at all mate. I was always taught 'of' also meant multiply. And 250% x 60 is defo 150.

Er, yes he is. He was was making the point that Spurs have a few bob to spend, and dont need massive reinforcements. I think.
@Yid4life
Erm.This is a thread about EFC not THFC.!
Erm.
It's about Spurs new boss.
Shucks I should have realised why can't Spurs fans stick to their own websites are they so boring?
Got gets lots of supporters from other clubs, some of who are a joy to have around, it's no surprise that a forum like this with it's recent awards for being best of kind has other footy fans wanting to join in is it?
I hope you are right. I rated his (brief) Soton 'performance' quite highly though.I'm quite glad they appointed him I don't think he is that good a manager.
