"This has almost finished football for me".

I reached that point a couple of years ago and have not knowingly put a single penny into football.
I got shut of sky completely, and no long go to games. I don't miss it one little bit.
I prefer to give my hard earned money to my sons and my Grandchildren.

I will always be a blue, but I refuse to contribute to the what I classify as "obscene" salaries paid to kids.

I am with you 100% mate...I will always support everton, but I just won't spend any hard-earned on football in general

I think many are going to realize their love of the game is pretty much gone, and they have been watching out of habit. This could be a day of reckoning for the greedy bar stewards sucking the soul out of the game in the pursuit of wealth.

The PFA apparently is behind this. Gordon Taylor must be worried about having to give up some of his massive salary.

There are couples who have been married decades, their partners get sick and go off in an ambulance. They won’t ever see each other again as they can’t visit them in hospital and they die alone.
But don’t worry, the players will get paid and the TV money will be saved.

Im a bit pissed with my club for not taking the lead here as well by the way.
We are usually the best at this type of thing.

All a bit unsavoury thus now isn't it.

When I saw Atletico and Juve's players agreeing to a cut, teams in Germany as well I was full sure, silly me, that would be a domino effect and the rest of the footballing world especially the elite and Premier league players would quickly follow suit.

I can't believe their greed, at a time like this, on them extraordinary wages, and to do nothing.

yes they are... taxes and VAT will no doubt go up after this. VAT is a tax on the poor

If i was a 1st team player at Spurs earning more in 3 months than those furloughed ( paid by the state btw) workers will earn in their lifetime it would not sit right with me.

Of course i'm not one them but would like to think if i was i would take a pay reduction / freeze to help them workers.

Levy , like some others showing their true colours in this horrid time.

This will take a high profile player to voluntarily reduce / freeze his wages before anything happens.

It wont be the likes of Levy or Ashley as you say.

You can pause your SkySports payments without any penalties. I've done it.

I haven't done this because they are showing a lot of rugby and cricket from back in the day, e.g. Lions' tours.
