But he answered it and said what he said :-( He should have said his the Health Minister and there to talk about what the NHS are doing to deal with issue and its not his place to say what private companies ie football clubs are doing
Its not Matt Hancock's fault that the players are choosing not to contribute.
I repeat: they are greedy, uncaring, self-important spoilt brats.
They are supported in this by Gordon Taylor and Wayne Rooney. And yet you want to give them a free ride?

Thetigerblue: They are. And yes, I am morally superior to them, as are most people in this country.
But hey, if you want to make excuses for them I guess that's what's important to you.

So do you work?
Do you pay tax?
Do you pay more tax than you need to?
Yeah right.

Go and support LFC. They’re so much more you.

Tell you what, how about this one then...
Anyone earning above the uk average of what is it now £37.5k a year? Has to donate any excess earnings (meaning anything not accounted for by living costs) towards funding the NHS and their local communities for the duration of the crisis
No exceptions

I always thought he came across as a bit daft. Now hes confirmed it.
So an experienced nurse dies on Friday after contacting Coronavirus at Aintree hospital and kyle Walker has a sex party with his mate and 2 sex workers on Tuesday. That night he posts a video telling everyone to stick to the government guidelines about coronavirus. No wonder people are losing faith with these footballers.

The billionaires and the millionaires should be donating money to the nhs. That would easily cover it. Not just a normal working person. Should a doctor or a senior nurse working hard for the nhs take a pay cut?

Its embarrassing behaviour and shows how out of touch he is. I hope the police give him the biggest fine they are allowed to.

Oh I agree, however I reckon that's the only way they'd go for it.
And the thing is I reckon every nurse and doctor etc wouldn't have a problem with it if it meant the crisis ended sooner.
Maybe if it was done proportionately? I.e the more you have the more you give? After all th we billionaires won't be taking it with them if they catch it...

Just read that post again. Are you serious?
Yes. You said you were superior to a bunch of players who’ve predominantly come from working class backgrounds, have worked extremely hard to be this good, pay their taxes, do charitable work. Including for EITC.

But you’re aligning yourself with Tory ministers and billionaires. Well done you, you hero of populist policies.

I’m perfectly serious. Support LFC. They’re definitely superior in every way. This means more....

Loads of fairly well off people have taken big pay cuts, the CEO of my company is on a dollar for the year (So we have been told). So I will spare my tears for footballers who are at home in the mansions not doing any work for full pay. 30% hardly breaks the bank and is far from leaving between a rock and a hard place.

Thanks for that.

Knowing a few nurses and paramedics I know they wouldn't go for it. These people arnt rich they are just getting by and they work hard. Should druggies give the money they spend on drugs to the nhs? Good luck with that
