To be fair to the ref he tried to keep his cards in his pocket, think he lost patience in the end. I agree Portsmouth should've got more though.

I stand by this comment.

If its a bad one - we have absolutely no creativity and will have to rely on set plays and a solid defence to nick narrow wins.

We'll just have to go back to 3-5-1 until Arteta is back. The main thing is we now have a solid defence, even without Jags, and fit strikers who score goals. Tim for Timmy to start knocking some in and Ossie to play his socks off!

May give Billy the run in the team he needs

He was going to get the run any way as Arteta are still not available, and to be honest we needed Billy and Piennar on the field at the same time.

Well, no matter how light the injure are, Pienaar won't play for us again until after the international break, let's hope Billy crosses would be enough to beat Bate and Stoke, but I am sure Baines and Heitinga would help him out in that department!

True but rather that then 2-3 months.

That would be something we don't need as we have alot of games coming up:-

October we have 7 games to play, November we have 5 games and December we have at least 7 games to play depending if we beat Spurs, we could be playing 8 games in December.

That's 19~20 games in the next three months, so, we could do with Pienaar playing for us again after the international break.

I was terrified when he went down - looked nasty but sounds reassuring then. International break couldn't come at a better time - we'll rest him up and then blitz the run of games that follows through October/November :)

Hopefully this is the case.
