Now I hate the royals so I’m obviously massively biased but the total media blackout on the BBC and the stuff with pretty normal radio stations like Absolute Radio just playing pre recorded messages and melancholy but not too melancholy songs is all just a little bit weird isn’t it?

Mind you, millions of kids in the U.K. and worldwide have benefitted through the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. I’m struggling to think of any single person who has introduced a scheme to equal it.....

Been saying the same all day, crap music on the radio like we've all got to be miserable, the telly is full of it, they've wheeled Phillips Schofield out in his black suit for a special show, went to BBC4 for top of the pops for a bit of entertainment and they've cancelled the whole kin channel

Absolutely disgraceful the blanket coverage and completely out of touch with how many people feel (particularly after what people have been through this last year). BBC 1 and 2 showing the same thing.

There was a message kept popping up earlier when my kid was watching Cbeebies about a major breaking story. That sort of thing should be reserved for an actual emergency that is a threat to the public.
